My Leisure Pursuits

​Outside of education and my prior life as a corporate manager, I have enjoyed many hobbies to relax and destress.  In addition to pounding on drums and making other kinds of music (I also play piano, guitar and bass) with our two sons down in our basement music room, I enjoy golfing, reading, traveling with family (our go to spot nearly every summer is Mackinac Island to enjoy both the history and serenity of the place), and building elaborate creations with Legos, again with our two sons!  We are especially proud to have recently completed one of the largest sets that Lego makes – the Titanic, complete with full LED lighting.  I am also a member of Orange Theory Fitness, keeping in shape and relieving stress with 4-5 workout classes per week.
